Alison joined Clancy PC as an Associate Lawyer in 2021. Born and raised in Ottawa, she studied at the University of Ottawa, where she obtained undergraduate degrees in Health Sciences and Psychology. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Western Ontario and was awarded a J.S.D. Tory Writing Prize in her final year. Alison’s interests in intellectual property law, personal data protection, and health-related legal issues subsequently motivated her to pursue a thesis-based Master of Laws degree, which she obtained from the University of Western Ontario. To complete her lawyer licensing requirements for the Law Society of Ontario, she was employed as a student-at-law with the legal department of a federally regulated corporation in Ottawa.
In her free time, Alison enjoys being outdoors, going for long walks, and spending time with her family and friends. She also has a passion for baking and learning about French pastry techniques.
